Anar Shaikenova, Ph.D.

Dr. Shaikenova is a Director at the DPRK Strategic Research Center and an Assistant Professor at the Department of International Relations and Politics Science, KIMEP University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Before joining the Ph.D. program, she worked with USAID, ADB, and the U.S. Department of State EXBS Program on strategic trade controls in Kazakhstan and in the Central Asian region. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Nazarbayev University and M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA.
