The Foreign Ministry Spokesman of NK, World Society is an ‘Idiot’?

North Korea is claiming that ‘We are the victims of counterfeit money’.

Is there a foreign ministry spokesman in North Korea? If so, who is the spokesman? Anyhow, until now whenever North Korea wanted to say something to the world, it has expressed its opinions in a form of an interview with the North Korean Central News Agency by the foreign ministry spokesman.

On March 1, the foreign ministry spokesman of North Korea said about something similar. That is, regarding the counterfeit money issue, since the U.S imposed a financial sanction on the international transactions of North Korea, only cash has circled in trades. In the situation, counterfeit money was introduced by accident. Thus, they themselves are the victims.

This is the claim that the order is reversed.

Suspicion that North Korea manufactured counterfeit money has been present from a long time prior to the financial sanction of the U.S. The financial sanction against North Korea launched in earnest from last September when the U.S named ‘Bangkok Delta Asia(BDA)’ which is located in Macao as ‘a state leading money laundering’. On the other hand, the counterfeit super-note dollars, which led to suspicion that they were made in North Korea, were found in the early 90’s, and it was not ‘a few bills that were introduced’, as North Korea claims, but a roll of millions dollar bills. It was not once or twice, but often.

Nevertheless, now the claim “because of the financial sanction, they can not help using only cash and in the process counterfeit money was introduced is only a unique ‘atrocious pun’ of North Korea which considers the world as stupid. On the 7th of this month, the U.S-NK meeting will be held in regards to the counterfeit money in New York. If North Korea continues to have such an attitude, the outcome would be unquestionable. It is worrysome.

Only Inconsistent Excuses Expressed

I do not want to lay out too many details. Yet, the claim of the Foreign Ministry spokesman has a lot of inconsistent logic.

The spokesman said at the conclusion “Because there is no reliable relationship with the U.S in the economic and financial fields, any sanction of the U.S would not work against us”. Conversely, North Korea continues to demand a lifting the sanction. Moreover, this time, North Korea extravagantly said that the financial sanction led to the counterfeit money introduction in the process of cash payment.

If the sanction of the U.S does not work, why is North Korea shaken up? Also, what is the claim that because of the sanction, only cash payment is possible?

Regarding the counterfeit money, the only option North Korea can choose is one. It is to practically stop committing the crimes after confessing its wrongdoings.

A few times, the U.S has sent a message that, “We do not punish North Korea for the counterfeit money, but make them stop doing it.” I hope that North Korea gets out of a crime bog by making the best of this opportunity. Opportunity never comes again.
