[imText1]The ceremony to send Hwang Jang Yop, President of the Committee for Democratization of North Korea, off to his last resting place was held at Seoul Asan Medical Center on the 14th. The burial ceremony was held in an area of Daejeon National Cemetery reserved for extraordinary contributors to South Korean society.
Approximately 300 guests including international and domestic North Korean human rights NGO activists, defectors, politicians and scholars mourned Hwang Jang Yop at both events.
