The 15th National Unification Advisory Council (NUAC) was launched in Seoul today with President Lee Myung Bak, newly appointed Chief Director Kim Hyung Wook and around 12,000 consultant members in attendance.
NUAC is a presidential advisory body and constitutional institution which provides policy options to the President and is involved in making the policy decisions necessary to pursue democratic and peaceful reunification. It was established in 1981.
