¡ã Ro Su Hui, the vice-chairman of the South Korean section of the Reunification of the Fatherland Union (RFU), returned to South Korea yesterday afternoon at the end of his illegal 104-day trip to North Korea. He received a rousing send off, first at a ceremony under the Monument to the Three Charters for National Reunification on the outskirts of Pyongyang (top), then at the DMZ itself. However, he was less well received by the South Korean authorities, which placed him under arrest as soon as he stepped across the Military Demarcation Line (bottom).
