The unfolding ‘Wangjaesan Incident’ spy scandal is a “baseless confidence trick” run by the South Korean security services, according to Uriminzokkiri, the North Korean propaganda website operated by the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland.
“Of late, the South Chosun public security authorities, the National Intelligence Service, prosecutors and so forth, have fabricated an utterly scandalous ‘spy ring incident’ scheme and greatly repressing unification patriots from all different spheres,” the website proclaimed in the piece released today.
“The puppet public security authorities talk about some unbelievable ‘secret rendezvous’ or other and whatever ‘physical evidence’, while dragging in many people from the opposition parties and fields such as the economy, labor and academia in this investigation game of theirs, people whom they are intending to brutally execute.”
“Fabricating a ‘spy ring incident’ is the puppets’ hackneyed way every time they face a serious leadership crisis,” it concludes, continuing, “Thanks to this fabricated incident, the conservative puppets’ confrontational anti-unification identity has been more clearly revealed to the world. The South Chosun conservative faction’s base scheming should be eliminated immediately, and the repression of unification patriots must stop.”
