One More Done for Pro-North Online Comments

A 49-year-old real estate agent known only as Kim was charged on Friday with violation of South Korea’s National Security Law for remarks made online in admiration of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, prosecutors have revealed.

Kim is accused of posting more than 70 separate comments in support of things like the Juche ideology and reunification on military-first terms, in addition to possession of 10 or more pro-North Korea documents, including Kim Il Sung’s lengthy memoirs, “With the Century.”

In a firm statement against such actions in support of North Korea, prosecutors stated, “Hereafter, we plan to take stern legal action against behavior both on or offline that threatens the existence or security of South Korea or endangers the liberal democratic underpinnings of our nation.”
