North Korea has put an end to debate about whether Kim Jong Eun is going to the upcoming summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran on the 26th, announcing instead the attendance of Kim Young Nam, the head of the standing committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly.
“Kim Young Nam will attend the 16th Non-Aligned Movement Summit that is soon to be held in Tehran, and make an official goodwill visit to Iran at the invitation of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad,” a brief Chosun Central News Agency (KCNA) report announced, without making reference to the brief flurry of excitement that embraced news of Kim Jong Eun’s attendance.
