Yoshihiro Makino

Yoshihiro Makino is a seasoned journalist, correspondent, and analyst covering East Asian security and Korean peninsula issues. He has been a visiting professor of Hiroshima University since September 2022. He has published a number of articles on North Korea’s politics and economy, and in 2013, authored a book entitled "North Korea Broadly: Inner Workings of Military, Economic, and Hereditary Power" (in Japanese).
