Daily NK Targets More Responsive Future

[imText1] Today, Daily NK launches a new campaign that will help us to deliver all the news from inside North Korea even more effectively to our readers.

The funds that are raised through this, Daily NK’s debut crowdfunding campaign, will go toward implementing a Responsive Web Design (RWD) platform for www.dailynk.com. In this way, we will soon be able to provide an optimal reading experience for all our site visitors, many of whom have been loyal to Daily NK since its inception back in 2004. This will ensure the continuation of unlimited access to the latest news from inside North Korea at the lowest possible cost.

“This is about building community as much as it is about fundraising,” the head of development for Daily NK, Gregory Pence explained. “Our periodical seeks to engage more readers across the globe, which requires site upgrades. We invite everyone to invest in an organization that is not only promoting positive change in North Korea by safeguarding the free flow of information, but also effecting positive change in South Korea by contributing to the development of civil society.”

Daily NK has been reporting timely and informative news from inside North Korea through a network of brave citizen journalists since 2004. It has a broken a range of extraordinary stories for the world, including the first footage of a public execution in 2005 and the catastrophic November 2009 currency redenomination.

We are going to keep doing more of the same, and hope all our readers will support the free flow of information on the Korean Peninsula by clicking on the “Amplify” logo to visit our Indiegogo campaign headquarters here
