The Jindallae 7 comes with just an instruction manual and does not include an insurance certificate as customary in the past.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The explosive popularity of smartphones in North Korea has led to the release of a host of new products as manufacturers compete to win over consumers. While most manufacturers have focused on improving smartphone functionality, the manufacturer of the Jindallae 7, the Mangyongdae Information Technology Company, appears to be attempting to attract customers by providing an unprecedented level of service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Jindallae 7\u2019s manual states that the free year of after-sales service will be provided to fix issues that come up during \u201csystem use\u201d and various \u201cfailures\u201d on the device.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSystem use\u201d most likely refers to errors surrounding the use of the operating system and the installation of software. \u201cFailures\u201d probably refers to issues surrounding the phone\u2019s hardware.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The manual also states that customers will enjoy a 50% discount off screen, motherboard and phone exterior replacements for one year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46546\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46546\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-46546\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dailynk.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/09\/\u1107\u1169\u1112\u1165\u11b7-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dailynk.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/09\/\u1107\u1169\u1112\u1165\u11b7-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.dailynk.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/09\/\u1107\u1169\u1112\u1165\u11b7-696x464.jpeg 696w, https:\/\/www.dailynk.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/09\/\u1107\u1169\u1112\u1165\u11b7-630x420.jpeg 630w, https:\/\/www.dailynk.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/09\/\u1107\u1169\u1112\u1165\u11b7.jpeg 741w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-46546\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This image, taken by a Daily NK source, shows part of the Jindallae 7&#8217;s manual dealing with the offer for one year after-sales service and the phone&#8217;s three-month warranty period.\u00a0 \/ Image: Daily NK<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The manual goes on to say that during the phone&#8217;s three-month warranty period users can receive free replacement of defective parts at \u201cinsurance outlets\u201d located in Pyongyang and the seats of government in each province.
