Agents are still searching the offices of lawmaker Lee Seok Ki.<\/p>\n<p>An official from the security forces explained, \u201cThe NIS obtained a warrant to detain these three people, and has exercised it. If it goes as planned, an arrest warrant will be filed on or around the 29th.\u201d An arrest warrant was not issued for Lee Seok Ki, who is a serving lawmaker. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the searches, Choi Tae Won, a senior prosecutor with Suwon District Prosecutors&#8217; Office explained, &#8220;(The UPP officials) are charged with conspiracy to commit a rebellion and violating the National Security Law.\u201d No further details have been released.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three people have been arrested in connection with this morning\u2019s searches of offices belonging to leftwing Unified Progressive Party officials.
