Kim in Attendance as 12 Yr. Education Declared

In the first major result to emerge publicly from today’s extraordinary session of the North Korean Supreme People’s Assembly, compulsory education in the country has been extended from eleven to twelve years.

Chosun Central News Agency announced the news in a brief report this lunchtime, adding, “Kim Jong Eun, 1st Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, 1st Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and Supreme Commander of the Chosun People’s Army, was present there.”
