Here we take a quick tour of the life of Hwang Jang Yop, who passed away on October 10th, 2010, from the time when he worked high in the Chosun Workers’ Party until the publication of his final work in summer, 2010.
Hwang served for many years in the regime of Kim Il Sung; as both Chairman of the Supreme People’s Assembly and the Workers’ Party secretary in charge of international affairs, then, following his defection, as president of the Committee for Democratization of North Korea.
