[imText1]Pictures of the Key Resolve/Foal Eagle drill, an annual U.S.-Korean joint military exercise, were revealed to the media on the 12th.

50 soldiers from a search battalion of the 2nd Division of the R.O.K. Marines and another from the 3rd Division of the U.S. Marines took part in the exercise at Camp Rodriguez in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province,

The Commander of the 1st Company of the U.S. Marines, Captain Jonathan Joseph said that this Key Resolve drill allowed both sets of marines to naturally exchange tactics with each other, and that the most important thing was to form a friendship between the U.S. and South Korea.

Meanwhile, Captain Park Hyun Shik of the 2nd Division of the R.O.K. Marines also pointed out that there was much to learn from the superior U.S. military, “We can build our capacity to conduct joint operations and improve the friendship between the U.S. and South Korea through this drill,” he said, adding, “The thing we should learn from is the U.S. marines’ command and control capacity.”
