Stamps and Delayed Recordings for Brazil

Chosun
Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on June 18th that the country has issued
new commemorative stamps for the 120th anniversary of the founding
of the International Olympic Committee and ongoing FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Olympic
stamp carries a photo of the founder of the Olympic Games and the Olympic torch
relay, while the three World Cup ones feature players dribbling and tackling,
as well as an inscription in English and Korean.

Meanwhile,
North Korean state television has been broadcasting some of the games in the
ongoing Brazil World Cup, but doing so on a delayed basis. This is in contrast
with live coverage of some games during the last World Cup, which was held in
South Africa.
