Park Threatened over European Tour Call

In relation to South Korean President Park Geun Hyes recent summit meetings with leaders of the United Kingdom and France, where it was agreed that there must be cooperation in pursuit of North Korean denuclearization, North Korea retorted today that President Park and her party should no longer mindlessly chatter about our Byungjin Line or our nuclear program.

The North Korean National Defense Commission issued the threat, asserting, Telling us to abandon our nuclear program and scrap our missiles is no different to demanding that we cast aside our independence and dignity, and become slaves to imperialism.

It insisted, Our autonomous national defense capabilities stemming from the missiles and nuclear weapons we possess are the treasures of the people living both in the North, the South and overseas. Our nuclear weapons and missiles are a mighty controlling influence that prevents the calamity of an American nuclear war, and a sword of self-preservation to defend the destiny of the people.

In direct response to Park calling for North Korea to change, the piece clarified, We are not the ones who must change; rather, it is Park Geun Hye, who has fallen into the swamp of Yushin and is floundering, and her followers.

Based on the value of the military-first policy, the pretentious sound forcibly pushing us in the hope that we will change is nothing but shameful. Park Geun Hye must bear in mind that, based on our example, South Chosun society is marching forward to a revolution, away from the road of subservience and national sale that is has been on for a very long time.
