How to Respond to North Korea, a Country Possessing Nuclear weapons?

[imText1]10.36AM, 2006 Oct 9th, North Korea became the 8th country to conduct nuclear experiments and the 9th country to officially possess nuclear weapons.

Following the first nuclear threat in the early 90’s and through this nuclear experiment, the term ‘North Korea Nuclear Negotiations’ has now dissipated. In other words, no longer do we have ‘negotiations’ but North Korea a ‘country possessing nukes.’ Now we are faced with a completely different situation and must ascertain how we are to face this issue.

How will we respond to North Korea, a country possessing nuclear weapons? How are we going to combat this response?

First, the Republic of Korea must avow its North Korea battle agenda. If South Korea is to respond to North Korea a country possessing nuclear weapons, it must first reaffirm its own existence.

The first and foremost order of battle agenda is ascertaining that what you cannot move is materialistically real and substantially true, and distinguishing what is speculation and what is fabricated. Hence, the most important agenda is analyzing what is true and false.

Second, after careful analysis a North Korea policy with a clear aim must be created on the basis of this ‘truth.’

Third, once the aim of North Korea policy is determined, a strategy must be established and both national and international measures must be arranged to support this strategy. Reiterating, South Korea must provide strategic measures that it can fulfill on its own as well as prepare measures that the international community like the U.S, Japan, China, and Russia can partake.

Fourth, Kim Jong Il’s tactics which will now only be aggravated must critically be analyzed, prevented-eradicated-neutralized.

Of the 4 agendas, the most urgent is to inform the public of what is ‘true’ and ‘false’ in regards to the North Korea nuke issue. This is the first order of battle agenda.

North Korea’s battle agenda first

First, we must diverge observing the nuclear situation from a subjective and relative view and rather take an objective stance.

As the DailyNK has repeatedly argued, the Kim Jong Il regime’s goal is to become a ‘country in possession of nukes.’ Through the recent nuclear experiment Kim Jong Il has accomplished his goal. By this, we mean that until now the development of North Korea’s nukes were ‘negotiable,’ in particular with South Korea and the U.S. However, this claim was based on subjective and ambiguous hopes and in more literal terms, means that the truth was validated on ‘deceptive’ evidence.

If North Korea’s nukes were on negotiable terms, then reciprocal commercial transactions would have been presented, and in the case commercial agreements were accomplished, the nukes may have been demolished. Only then would we be able to utilize the term ‘negotiable.’ However, since the first nuclear threat in the early 90’s and until now, North Korea has vigorously masqueraded the negotiations and ultimately became a nuke possessing country.

Until now, North Korea’s nukes have been claimed as ‘negotiable’ not ‘in possession.’ Originating from the DJ-Roh Moo Hyun administration, the public was given false images. The people who have led this policy include (political leaders) Kim Dae Jung, Im Dong Won, Jung Se Young, Roh Moo Hyun, Lee Jong Seok and Jung Dong Young, as well as professors and expert analysts.

From now on, the public need not believe what experts say until the experts elucidate that their judgment was wrong and apologize for their mistakes. Also, until experts and leaders completely alter their opinion in regards to the North Korea nuke issue and reveal the facts, the public should not bother believing them at all.

In the case that citizens face damages as a result of infantile politics or stubborn administrative policies, citizens have all right to retaliate against the government. This act of right should begin with the fact that the leaders did not listen to the requests of the people. Through the mistaken identity of ‘negotiation,’ in the end they incurred a confirmation that North Korea is a country in possession of nukes and as a result the people are faced with damages. Above all, even greater losses are being forecasted for the future.

Further, as leaders do not alter their attitudes it would be wise for citizens to approach the North Korea and nuke issue as an ‘Exclamation of their life’ and rather not listen to them as ‘opinions’ or ‘claims.’

Kim Dae Jung’s ‘Selfish Actions’ Start-up Line

From the beginning, the Kim Jong Il regime’s goal was to become a nation in possession of nuclear weapons. The aim was to become a nuke possessing nation, with enough recognition to utilize nukes peacefully and receive aid through forced action. In addition to having nukes, they would contract peaceful negotiations with the U.S. to withdraw its troops in South Korea and then place South Korea as their nuclear hostage. Whether or not all this is possible, this was the aim the Kim Jong Il regime had from the beginning when agreeing to participate in the 6-Party Talks.

The fact that North Korea made ridicule comments while participating in the 6-Party Talks such as “Treat us as a country in possession of nukes,” and “The 6-Party Talks is a Reduction of Arms Talk between North Korea-U.S.” from an objective point of view although it is ‘nonsense,’ we cannot deny that this was Kim Jong Il’s ‘personal desire.’ In the end, Kim Jong Il’s aspiration was in part accomplished.

Even in the mid-90’s where 3 million people were dying of starvation, Kim Jong Il did not forfeit his dream of nuclear development. It is possible that Kim Jong Il is perceiving this nuclear experiment to be the ‘lotus flower’ kindled for the 3 million people that were sacrificed. Hence, after pressing the nuclear experiment button, we cannot know if he wept in secret full of emotion at a beastly corpse memorial crying “Father, I have accomplished what the dictator was unable to fully achieve.” This is the true desire of Kim Jong Il.

When reviewing the past 40 years of North Korea’s nuke development history, any person with common sense will be able to see without any further commentary that the goal of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il regime was to establish a nuke possessing country.

The problem lies in the fact that our people trusted the fabrication of politicians and the government as real. Antagonistically, Kim Dae Jung was unable to distinguish between the ‘words’ and ‘actions’ of the Kim Jong Il regime and rather due to his own selfish desires to place his name in history, he blinded the truth from the public and continued to lie. Basically he sold the Republic of Korea so he could achieve his own personal goal. This is what led to the launch of this nuclear experiment.

Even on the day Kim Jong Il performed the nuclear experiment, Kim was lying and evading responsibility saying “Because of the U.S…” Undoubtedly, it is true that part of the responsibility falls on the U.S. who only later discovered the Kim Jong Il regime’s fatal destiny. However, at least the U.S. did not contribute funds to the development of Kim Jong Il’s nukes compared to Kim Dae Jung who funded billions of dollars to the cause. Even if Kim says these lies based on “actions of desire,’ he should follow the honesty and sincerity of the lives of the people if not to save his own conscience and his grandchildren from embarrassment.

The media and investigators, by his own life

There is one task that must be conducted by the media and investigators for the North Korea battle agenda. The criminal acts by these people need to be revealed and they must be punished accordingly. It is not to simply rearrange past events but to associate the acts with current North Korea nukes and in the case there is evidence of crime, we must follow the statue of limitations and treat the case by law. Rather than condemning past actions, it is reprimanding the current actions.

This is not to say that South Korea should become disruptive over the issue of North Korea’s nuclear experiment. For the sake of battle agenda, this must be overcome and considered ‘innovation’ for the Republic of Korea’s existence. This is because it will be difficult to combat Kim Jong Il who is in possession of nukes before we even reorganize our own existence.

Hence, with Kim Jong Il having become a nuclear possessing country and continuously requesting ultimatums (for example, ending financial sanctions) while hiding behind the curtain of talks and peaceful war tactics, it is possible that he will be provoked to threaten South Korea or its parts and begin a psychological warfare.

In this case, the parties who proclaimed amity with a nuclear regime and “North Korea’s negotiable nukes” will once again change face and say “It will all be resolved once the U.S. releases financial sanctions. It is because of the U.S…”

These people will continue to welcome a Kim Jong Il camouflaged peace offensive in order to resist confessing their own mistakes and again respond to Kim Jong Il’s lies by deceiving the people. If we reach these circumstances, the Korea-U.S. alliance will disintegrate and the effect of Kim Jong Il’s nuclear hostage will escalate. Nothing will be resolved and we will endlessly repeat this vicious cycle.

Also, the vicious cycle must continue for these people to survive in politics. This is because if this water mill cycle does come to a halt and the truth is revealed, there may even be some people who are sentenced to jail.

Further, with the upcoming presidential election next year, these people must make all efforts to keep this water mill rotating. Moreover, they earnestly yearn for Kim Jong Il to join and ride the rotating water mill. It is important to point out that it waas Kim Dae Jung who opened the South-North Korea Summit Talks and claimed that the “Sunshine Policy succeeded” on the 9th, the day North Korea conducted the nuclear experiments.

We must by all means disconnect the link to the camouflaged peace-nuclear water mill hostage. Then the Republic of Korea will live. We must try our best to untie the Republic of Korea’s first battle agenda and reveal the truth and criminal acts through the media and investigation.
