South Korea¡¯s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT) announced today that Lim Sung Nam, Seoul¡¯s representative to the Six-Party Talks, is to visit the United States over three days starting on the 18th.
A MOFAT official said, ¡°It is a trip to review and share information on the North Korean nuclear problem rather than one about a pending issue.¡±
Lim is scheduled to meet U.S. counterpart Glyn Davis and other Department of State officials, alongside officials from the White House National Security Council.
Lim was previously in China on the 5th and 6th, where he met with Chinese counterpart Wu Dawei.
