Kim Jong Eun has been elevated to ¡®1st Chairman of the National Defense Commission¡¯ at today¡¯s session of the rubberstamp Supreme People¡¯s Assembly in Pyongyang, while Kim Jong Il has been made ¡®eternal Chairman¡¯ of the same entity, according to Chosun Central News Agency.

The news follows the 4th Chosun Workers¡¯ Party Delegates¡¯ Conference on Wednesday, when Kim Jong Il was made ¡®eternal General Secretary¡¯ of the Chosun Workers¡¯ Party while Kim Jong Eun took the position of 1st Secretary.
