U.S.-NK Talks Produce "A Little Bit" of Progress

The chief U.S. delegate to talks with North Korea in Beijing has revealed that the two sides made a little bit of progress following the end of their two days of discussion.

The word "breakthrough" would be taking it "too far," Special Representative for North Korea Policy Glyn Davies told reporters as he left the talks earlier this evening.

There had been hopes that the two sides would be able to arrive at a deal that would see the U.S. supply North Korea with aid in exchange for Pyongyang putting a block on its uranium enrichment activities, but that does not appear to have been the case.
